Grazin' Acres

At Grazin' Acres when the grass is green
the cows graze gently, calm and serene.
Later in winter when it's cold and gray
they stay in the barn to quietly eat hay.
Our History
We take the name Stewards of the Land literally and want to take good care of the resources we have. Over the last few years we have transitioned our acreage from conventional grain-livestock farming to a pasture based sustainable agriculture operation.
Our Products
With a commitment to providing nature's best, we at Grazin' Acres raise Black Angus cattle the old-fashioned way--with no added hormones, antibiotics or steroids. The cows and calves are kept on a forage diet from birth to market resulting in natural nutritional advantages in the meat. Rotational grazing and low-stress handling are used to produce lean, tasty beef. Lower fat and calorie content and extra Omega 3's are just a few of the benefits of meat from grass-fed beef. Try it, you will like it!
We are taking orders for sides or quarters of beef that will be ready in the fall of 2009. We will also take orders for individual cuts of meats. Our beef is processed at Chenoa Locker, Chenoa, IL, a licensed processing plant.
